A StoryWalk® is a fun, educational activity that promotes literacy, learning, and outdoor play. Pages of a storybook are displayed along a circuit, allowing families and educators to read as they walk from tree to tree.

Community members can now visit the library’s permanent StoryWalk® circuit at McLean Neighbourhood Park (22500 McLean Ave) any time the park is open. Simply start at the playground and follow the story clockwise along the trail! The installation was made possible through a partnership with the City of Richmond, Rotary Club of Richmond Sunrise, and Decoda Literacy Solutions.

The library also offers StoryWalk® kits for borrowing, thanks to support from the Friends of the Richmond Public Library, Richmond Fitness & Wellness, and Decoda Literacy Solutions. Browse and borrow the kits. Visit Site
